Further to the Press Release dated 12/9/2014 concerning the foreseen traffic arrangements for the needs of the construction of PIRAEUS Station, we wish to inform you on the last phase of the traffic arrangements in question (see attached map).

The traffic arrangements will apply as of the morning of Friday October 3rd 2014and will last until the works for the construction of PIRAEUS Station are completed.

In particular:

  1. The traffic lane of Akti Kallimassioti Street (extension of Akti Possidonos Street) with direction towards the center of Piraeus remains as is.
  2. Respectively, the traffic lane of Akti Kallimassioti Street (extension of Akti Possidonos Street) with direction towards Aghios Dionyssios, is shifted parallel with the sea, namely from Kapodistriou Street up to the intersection of Aghiou Dionyssiou and Vlachakou Streets.
  3. The overhead pedestrian bridge connecting the Port of Piraeus with PIRAEUS ISAP Station remains closed.
  4. Loudovikou Street is converted into a dead-end.
  5. The direction of Kapodistriou Street is reversed from Akti Kallimassioti Street (extension of Akti Possidonos Street) up to Navarinou Street.
  6. The direction of Leocharous Street is reversed from Navarinou Street up to Akti Kallimassioti Street (extension of Akti Possidonos Street).

It is noted that ATTIKO METRO S.A., in cooperation with the Contracting Joint Venture, introduces all indicative measures on a daily basis in order to facilitate the adjacent businesses and minimize any disturbance caused inevitably by all construction works needed for PIRAEUS Station.
