The waterproofing works of the permanent lining for the construction of the natural lighting shaft in ALIMOS Station commenced.

Placement anew of the antiquities at the surface level of ALIMOS Station is in progress.

The installation of surveillance systems (cameras) in all stations of the extension is in progress.

September 2010

The temporary retaining works for the construction of the natural lighting shaft at the inclined underground passageway crossing Vouliagmenis Avenue have commenced at the concourse level of ALIMOS Station.

The installation of cabling for the systems of lighting, telecommunications and loudspeakers continues in all the stations of the extension.

The reinstatement of the surrounding area in ARGYROUPOLI and ELLINIKO Stations as well as in the Depot is in progress.

August 2010

The traffic reinstatement of Vouliagmenis Avenue at the intersection of Agiou Vassileiou Shaft is in progress.

The Civil Works at the tunnel connecting the Eastern Entrance with ALIMOS Station have been completed.

July 2010

The excavation works of the gallery connecting the Eastern entrance with ALIMOS Station have been completed.

The backfilling works, along with the works for the reinstatement of the surrounding area at the stations and the ventilation shafts of the extension, are in progress.

The works for the installation of metal structures and stainless steel finishes in stations’ areas are in progress.

June 2010

Phase A’ of the excavation works of the tunnel connecting the Eastern Entrance with ALIMOS Station has been completed.

The reinstatement of the surrounding areas of ELLINIKO and ARGYROPUPOLI Stations is in progress.

The installation of metal sheds at the stations’ entrances is in progress.

The works for connecting the extension of the project to the existing Lyssiou Shaft, have commenced in cooperation with AMEL.

A’ Phase excavation works relating to the tunnel connecting the Eastern Entrance with ALIMOS Station are in progress.

Works related to floor and wall cladding with granite at ALIMOS Station are at a completion phase.

The installation of stainless steel linings and the installation of lighting systems in the areas of the four stations and the underground Depot are in progress.
