Shifting of the vehicular traffic in a section of Egnatia Street
In order to complete the works related to the construction of diaphragm walls at the southern section of VENIZELOU Station, the vehicular traffic is shifted to the northern section of Egnatia Street is relocated.
In particular, as of Tuesday January 8th the vehicular traffic between Ionos Dragoumi and Aristotelous square is shifted to the north in Egnatia street for a six-month period. The said section of Egnatia street will continue to have two traffic lanes per direction as presently.
At the same time, there will be two traffic lanes at Venizelou Street, at a length of approximately 100 m before (as per the traffic flow) its intersection with Egnatia Street.
Throughout the time period required for the completion of works, crews of the contracting consortium will make every effort to assist the operation of the adjacent companies.
